Project Coordinator
Pro Omnis Foundation
The Pro Omnis Foundation, founded in 2010, carries out statutory tasks, among others, by providing care, educational and family support services. We operate day support facilities for seniors and children aged 7 to 18 years old (community center called Jarek Club). We pursue sustainable development goals in all aspects of our activities. We place a strong emphasis on intergenerational actions. We support caregivers of dependent individuals in the areas of physical and mental relief. Our adult support centers are called “Centers of Many Generations,” which reflects the essence of our actions. Essentially since the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, they could also be called intercultural (international) centers of many generations.
We conduct reintegration, educational and supportive actions for socially excluded individuals (or those at risk of social exclusion) in their return to the job market. We operate a social enterprise called Talerz Pro Omnis and employ people in need.
The Foundation employs 30 professionals on paid positions and around 20 volunteers. We conduct workshops in collaboration with other institutions on healthy lifestyle, relaxation, and nutrition. We educate caregivers, youth, seniors, parents, and social workers. In 2023, we trained 270 seniors, 84 working-age adults, and 134 children.
In our humanitarian activities, we support an average of 5000 people per year. We are the leader of the Kropka network, which brings together social entrepreneurs, and as part of this activity, we also carry out educational activities for social startups. We collaborate with many organizations and institutions, understanding the importance of synergy in achieving the final result.
As an organization that is both a food producer and a catering service provider, we feed nearly 2000 people every day. We have extensive experience and skills in food production technology and planning. We are familiar with methods of extending the shelf life of food and waste management. We specialize in knowledge of nutritional values and planning balanced menus with consideration for health diets. Planning and logistics of resources and food is a crucial element in sustainable management.
Our organization regularly conducts training on how to plan purchases and utilize surplus meals. We provide simple recipes, shopping lists, ways to label and arrange ingredients and products in the fridge, and tips on cooking and saving water and energy (electricity, gas, etc.). Examples and conversions of small habits (like covering a pot with water while boiling) on a yearly scale are very illustrative and resonate with training participants. As an organization, we have a signed agreement with the food bank and we process ingredients with approaching expiration dates. In 2022, we provided over 90,000 free aid meals (in 2023 – incomplete data, about 50,000). These experiences will allow us to prepare a very practical training cycle for adults that will support household budgets, positively impact energy and water consumption, and reduce food waste.
